Viewing all my comments

  1. Does anyone know if under "My Comments", there is a limit to the number of comments (you have made on other blogs) that are tracked and for what period. I seem only to be able to view my comments for a couple of days and once the My Comment page is "Full" (?) older comments disappear.

  2. i would also like to know an answer to this question.

of course, one partial answer is:
when a new comment is made it will automatically be moved to the top of your "my comments" page. that will allow you to respond to new comments by other users.

(one possible reason behind the policy it to keep wordpress users from continually posting comments, or spamming)

until that happens, the "my comments" page will only show a certain number of comments and there is no option that i know of that allows you to view posts older than what is shown.

I believe it only shows threads which you've commented on (that are still active). If someone has commented after your comment, for a considerable amount of time, it drops off the 'my comments' page. Every now and then and old thread will appear, on mine, when someone makes a comment.

I believe the intent of 'My Comments' is to create interactivity on threads which are still being commented on; not to archive every comment which a person has ever made. :)

    Correct.
