Views by State?

  1. Is more detail available under views by country? For example, which states are tuning in, in the U.S.

The blog I need help with is theladytea.wordpress.com.

  2. No there is no additional detail available.

If you would like to you can use a free third party feedjit widget that will give more detail in the sense that it lists the location of the ISP. In my case, no matter what it states I don't live where the ISP portals indicate.

We can only use the HTML version (non-Javascript) so be sure you get the correct code. HTML feedjit code for wordpress.com blogs, MySpace, Windows Live Spaces, LiveJournal and Hi5 users > http://feedjit.com/joinimg/
Step 1: Customize It! (Choose your color scheme, widget width, and the maximum number of entries to be displayed.)
Step 2: Copy the code into your site HTML or into a text widget.

  3. Sounds good. I will try that. Thanks!

  4. You're welcome.

  5. You can also get flags from U.S. states:

  6. For example, which states are tuning in, in the U.S.

But they don't tell you which city and state or the time of the visit and neither does clustrmaps or maploco.

  7. No, not which cities, nor times, but the OP asked about state stats…
guess I just like the nice display of flags—sort of tiles or tessellations (like my name).

It's not a bad widget (free) and it does provide a long-term overview of where visitors are coming from. The maps with the dots just get all spotted after a few thousand views and are not so clear to me at a glance.
