timlandslidenew to inserting video so im sure this is straightforward.
im embeding the vimeo code so that the video player will show up in the blog but instead it just shows a link - no video. What am i doing wrong ?

Instead of pasting the code into the visual tab of the editor (which I've found problematic) paste it into the HTML tab instead. That always seems to work for me.
I just posted that code into the HTML tab on one of my test blogs and it works fine.

It worked!! Thank you! It's an odd glitch though... I originally used the upload/insert buttons at the top of the editor's visual tab.

You're welcome. Inserting in the visual editor is iffy in my experience and doesn't always work for some reason, so I've resorted to putting it into the HTML editor which always seems to work (unless I make a typo).
