   Hi,

   I am a new user. Probably this is a very simple question for a lot of people, but why when I am writting a new post using the Visual Rich Editor the hyperlinks buttons are not enabled? I would like to insert hyperlinks and I can not do it.

   Any help is really appreciated it.

   There are a number of threads on this very topic running at the moment.

   Matt's advice is to write the text, highlight it and the buttons should come active.

   Another thing you can do is switch over to the standard text editor as well. This would give you greater control over your posts and limit you from any of TinyMCE's random tag inserts that it is known for.
