Want control over how "Published" posts are emailed

    Hello:

    I just recalled something that I should have "shared" last year. At around Tuesday, October 18, 2011 5:38 PM, I received an email that was "Sent by a verified WordPress.com user." The email stated that I sent over 600 post via email. Here is what happened:

    "I “Published” previously “Private” Plinky.com posts."

    ---

    Is there a way to prevent subscribers/followers from receiving multiple "Updates" of my previously "Published" posts via email? If not, could team AutoMATTic/WordPress implement something to "fix it"?

    I want to control how my "Published" posts are emailed to subscribers/followers of my WordPress.com weblog(s).
