WANT FULL POST DISPLAYED ON HOME PAGE

  1. I just switched from Blogger to WordPress and am completely lost. I am actually familiar with HTML but can't seem to figure out how to do anything (or access any code) anywhere.

At this point, I just want to show the full post, for every post, on the home page. Right now, it shows just a paragraph for each with the "continue reading" link.

I am using the free Fresh & Clean theme.

Am I able to change this? If so, how?

The blog I need help with is katylh.wordpress.com.

  2. You can't access the root code of a site at WordPress.com. If you want to tinker at the code level, you need paid hosting and WordPress.org software.

You can choose a theme that normally displays the full post (most do) or you can use the Manual Excerpt box to trick your theme, which is designed to show snippets, into displaying the whole post. That manual excerpt box is below the Write Post box, and you put the CODE for the whole post in there. Not the visual copy/paste, the code copy/paste. Be aware it could look a bit funky.
