Wanting to make a copy of my blog before I buy a premium theme!

    Hi! I want to renew my blog and change to a premium theme - Pretty Young Thing. I wonder if its possible to make a copy of my old blog for safe keeping if something goes wrong with the change - as the new theme have more options. Or I for some reason will not be satisfied with the change.

    I also want to make a custom header picture before I make the change and would like to know the best format! I need to do one that says "Going through changes..." ;)

    Why would you make a custom header and then change themes? All headers are different sizes depending on the theme.

    To make a backup of your current site, just go to Tools->Export and export the contents.

    Thank you!

    The custom header is for for the new theme. I read that it should be 960x240 in Pretty little things, but also that the hight is flexible. Is it?

    One more question! Does the theme support sticky posts?

    I don't know. I have no idea what theme you're considering, since you didn't tell me. It should be on the theme information page.

    Pretty Little Thing is the theme I'm asking about. It's in my first sentence and I even tagged my question with it...

    I have read the information page but I have also read a whole lot more information about the theme and that is why I'm confused and was hoping for advice!

    We do know that it's not necessary to back up your data prior to changing themes, as no theme change ever results in data loss.

    Read-access to the premium themes forum is now open to all users so you can search to see if your question has been previously asked and answered there.
