Watson Theme: Enabling Wide Screen

  1. Hi,

I am trying to make a Watson themed wordpress.org blog a wider width. There is a full-width page template but I am not sure how to enable it... Where would I put it in the ccs? Is there something else I could do?

    Thanks!

This support forum is for blogs hosted at WordPress.com. If your question is about a self-hosted WordPress blog then you'll find help at the WordPress.org forums.

If you don't understand the difference between WordPress.com and WordPress.org, you may find this information helpful.

If you forgot to include a link to your blog, you can reply and include it below. It'll help people to answer your question.

We cannot help you here with that site. We provide support only for free hosted WordPress.COM blogs and you are posting to the wrong support forum.

WordPress.com and WordPress.org are completely separate, have different log-ins and run different versions of themes with same names. If you don't have a username account at WordPress.ORG click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post to the support forums there and receive advice from WordPress.ORG bloggers.

  4. This help page explains how to set a template for a page in WordPress (it's the same for WordPress and WordPress.com in this case):
    http://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/page-attributes/

Give that a try, and if you still need help with the Watson theme after that, you should check with the company where you purchased the theme since premium themes like that one usually come with support. Start by checking their documentation first, looks like there's some cool stuff at http://thethemefoundry.com/tutorials/watson/ ! Then use the Help Center link on that site if you can't find what you need.
