I can't seem to get w.bloggar (v 4.00) to work with wordpress.com
I either get a connection failed, or some message like:
The attempt to connect to the server failed
or
HTTP POST failed the error number is the returned http status code
What exactly am I doing wrong?
the setting might be wrong. well i've not use wblogger for my wordpress.com anyway, but i do use it for my other wp weblog

I too face the exact same problem
On research , found that the below values are required.
Use the below options
Host Name : urBlogName.wordpress.com
XMLRPC Path : \xmlprc.php
Enable HTTPS
the above settings made it work for me, update how it goes for u

I think Options uses w.blogger. I'm sure he'll see this thread.
I use a cross poster and that's the options I have to use in there so it looks right to me.
I use w bloggar. When I set it up I used the settings just as rsathya posted above and it "just worked".

I tried w.bloggar several times and several times I got that same error. Then one day it just worked. I have no idea why. Stick with it :)
Maybe it's how rainflower's desk is arranged or the shirt he or she is wearing. :)
I am having the same trouble, I saved my error msg.
Error! Code: 5 / Reason 'Didn't receive 200 OK from remote server. (HTTP/1.0 404 Not Found)'
Need to give us details about your setup please. The URLs you have in there, etc.
I had the same issue, how ever rsathya's method worked wonders.
Make sure you have the '\' slash rather than the otherwise suggested '/'.
