I just set up a new blog at rollinscauses.wordpress.com, and I was checking out the stats. There's a section which shows clicks on my blog when people have clicked on internal links to check out external sites. That's great.
However, one of the links that shows up there is NOT on my blog. I've never seen it before - it links to some blog consultant's page. How did it get into my stats? It's not interfering with my page, is it?
IMHO this is a question that only staff can answer. Support hours are Monday - Friday 8 - 4 PM Pacific time. There is a "support" button you can use to reach staff on the top right hand corner of any admin side blog page.

It's probably a click on the WP.com-initiated Google Adsense on your blog. It's rare, but it does happen.

It's happened to me too. I follow up everything carefully and this was the only explanation I could come up with as the outgoing links could not be found in my blog contents.
P.S. Is there an email address or a contact form that we volunteers can use to contact you directly on forum matters?
On forum matters, I prefer the "modlook" tag, but check your email.

i get top clicked links by the name of "-". i think there are 2 of them on my list and i dunno why. it might be that the links are longer than what ive allowed on the widgets menu (i had mine set to 25) so maybe it just shows a continuence.
my site also has a catergory that i never issued by the name of "1". ive deleted both these types of occurences a few times yet they just keep coming back.
Have you contacted staff about this mysterious "1" category that was appearing on your blog? I think it maybe related to our inability to edit category slugs but, I could be wrong http://en.forums.wordpress.com/search.php?q=category+slug
In any event if this problem is mysterious category is still displaying on your blog you will need staff intervention to remove it. Support hours are Mondays - Fridays 8 AM - 4 PM, Pacific time. There is a "support" link on the dashboard side of your blog on the top right hand corner that you can use to contact staff during those hours.
