  3. Nothing much: computer troubles are keeping me offline more than I want. Dammit, when do I make a fortune from blogging and get computer that doesn't run on the same hardware as the Commodore 64???

Past couple of days I have posted:

Chris Crocker: You fuck with Britney, you deal with ME! perhaps the greatest teary fan video of all time

I have no further comment at this time an update on the roommate situation

Beavers fondled, sniffed, petted by Wetmore Woman. Clickbaiting? Who, me???

The Problem with Public Computers It's all the disco.

Chop-chop a story too gruesome for the mommyblogging community; they forced it down.

Daniel Radcliffe and the Tongue of Many Talents. No wonder the lad is popular!

  7. you might covet to have extra space between paragraphs in your wp blog. here's how you can get it done.

    http://shongjog.wordpress.com/2007/09/14/how-to-have-extra-spaces-between-paragraphs-in-your-wordpresscom-blog/

  8. @sanjidabd
Ummm the easy way o have extra space between paragraphs in your wp blog is to use
    <br/ > or
    &nbsp

  9. ummmm,
    timetheme. good catch ALMOST ;)

however the traditional br and &nbsp aren't enough to "fool" all themes. hence the roundabout solution!

  10. I have made inserting technorati tags under each post a cakewalk. really, it can't get any easier!

  12. An interesting political story, the sort blogs excel at and the MSM often overlook:

    (1) In your blog post, did you share both the easy solution and the names of the minority of wp.com themes that do not accept the easy solution to your readers? I sure hope so. Otherwise your readers will be wasting their valuable time mucking about with an unnecessary work around when one is not required.

    (2) Also note that it's easier to use a free Technorati tag generator than mucking about as you describe. You do know about them, right?

    1. i don't have the time or energy to test every single theme. i will leave it for the individual blogger to deal with her/his theme. and yes, i have provided both the straight-cut way and the roundabout solution, thank you.

    2. no i didn't know of any easy technorati tag generator, it seems you do know. so would you be kind enough to share it, so that i can update my post?

    you are brilliant!

  16. @timethief again,
you know you are always welcome to share your opinion in my blog. i do believe that is more appropriate, cos then my readers will get easy access to your opinions.

on the other hand you ARE the wp diva, lol! so if you want to do it in a typical forum support way, what can i say, you know best!

  17. @timethief,
AHA! you had keotags in mind right? found it in a google search - listed in bloggersblurt. but i must admit i don't understand why a smart lady like you is using addthis bookmark under each post. i read options' feedback on its futility in a forum thread and he couldn't be more right!

  18. why adding ADDTHIS social bookmarking button under each blogpost is completely futile:

    http://shongjog.wordpress.com/2007/09/15/why-using-the-social-bookmarking-button-from-addthis-is-absolutely-futile/

and if you absolutely must have social bookmarking icons under each post, this post also has a link to an easy solution near the bottom.

    enjoy!

  20. hey guys can you check out my blog and leave some feedback i will really appreciate it =]

  21. Hey, I get 10% of my traffic from social bookmarking buttons, so I shall continue to use them. Also: they're purty!

  22. @raincoaster,
traffic, eh? why not submit your blog url and description in MY BLOG so that my visitors can visit your blog?

    http://shongjog.wordpress.com/2007/07/31/submit-your-own-blogs/

and by the way, i love social bookmarking icons, too! i just don't like addthis under each post, cos it can't handle blogposts!

  23. My main blog is getting about 3100 hits a day, so I'm not actively looking for reciprocal blogrolling. Too labour intense, without the return. Blogrolls don't give more than 5 clicks a day, whereas someone linking to you in a blog post can be worth quite a lot more, so that's what I'm going for.

  24. @rain,

hey! where did this reciprocal blogrolling thing come from? my offer involves neither thing!

it's one-way really. for my visitors to find new blogs. :D

kind of my blog's version of plug-your-blog-here thing!

some of my bloggers actually like this idea a lot. but if it's not your thing it's ok!
