I create a new blog called dearblog.wordpress.com, but it says that site already exists. When the URL is typed into a browser, it returns "dearblog.wordpress.com has not been activated yet". Does this mean that this URL has been previously owned or deleted? In which case, I would need to contact the owner to ask for permission to use the URL, but the owner or status of the URL is both unclear.
The blog I need help with is wewanttable.wordpress.com.
That means that the user dearblog exists, but hasn't created the blog that is reserved for them.
@RC - could it also mean that there is an activation email lost somewhere - if the blog was just reserved for an account name should it not say "reserved" and not a message to contact support if you can't activate it?
