What does it take to make you happy?

    I just got one of these emails from wordpress that a few people got upset over and I've gotta say it made me laugh.

    "You're so vain. You probably think ----post title*---- is about you."

    Yep. There I was testing a 'like' button on a private post and wham! Into my email inbox dropped the Carly Simon misquote!! :D

    Well, maybe it doesn't take much to make me happy, but for once wp did something that just did.

    *Nope I'm not gonna say what the post is called. Cos if I ever manage to get this blog off the ground, it'll spoil the surprise...

    What little things does it take to make you happy?

    Cheerful customer service. Even if they are only there to sell you sushi on a Sunday. Not only did the sushi taste better, it was a great sunny day afterwards.

    Days back I had a lot of wishes but no money to fulfill them.
    Today I have a lot of money but I don't find any wish to spend it.
    Nothing cheers me up. The real joy is hidden in the prayers.

    Little things on my blog. Like the fact I'm posting my 100th book review tomorrow. Or more simple things, like watching opera while curled up with a Coke and warm, extra-buttery popcorn. Or when you wake up early and realize that you can stay in bed because it's the weekend. Now that is pure joy!
