What happened to CSS Preview?

  1. I need to make a design change to my sub-menu, but with the new CSS interface I don't see any way to preview my changes. I've tried in both Safari and Firefox, but there's no "Preview" button anywhere. Please tell me how I'm supposed to preview my changes in the new interface, or if it's a glitch, please fix it. Thank you.

The blog I need help with is blog.karenjoslin.net.

  2. Hi @karenjoslin, sorry you are having preview troubles.

At Appearance > Custom Design > CSS, or through Appearance > Customize > CSS, you should be able to preview your CSS changes in that page in real-time with no need to click a button. Are you not seeing the CSS changes appear in the preview as you add your CSS?

One suggestion would be to log out, clear your browser cache and cookies, restart your browser and then try again.

Do you have javascript enabled in your browsers (Safari preferences under Security tab or in Firefox preferences under the Content tab)? Also, do you have any script blocking add-ons or plugins installed in your browsers?

I hope that helps, and please let us know if you are still not getting the real-time preview when adding your custom CSS.

  3. Thanks for clarifying that. No, I didn't see any changes appearing in my browser, but I also didn't know if the coding was correct. Changing the font color as a test of the live preview worked, though. Back to the drawing board on my code.... :)

  4. You are welcome and please let us know if you experience any more problems or have further questions.

Your site is looking great by the way. Nice and clean and pleasant.

  5. Thanks!
