I typed two pages and posted it but it's not there. Help! Where'd it go? Can I get it back? What happened. I'm really annoyed! I'm trying to start a blog but this is the second time this has happened! Please help me!

Do not EVER use the New Post button on the admin bar. It doesn't cause the autosave to kick in.
Check your revisions file to see if there are any saves: http://en.support.wordpress.com/posts/post-revisions/
It's hopeless. Keeps happening to me too.
I started my WORDPRESS blog in April 2011 and have made over 350 posts.
On 12/1/12 the "Add New Post" window does not have any space for entering new text. Instead the window has "Writing Helper" and "Likes and Shares," which are of no use to me.
When I started with the "wordpress.com website and logged in, the "Add New Post" tab gave me the old window and allowed the entry of text.
A similar problem exists for editing documents in "Pages."
How can I get back to the user-friendly WORDPRESS for adding and editing posts and pages?

When i click your link nothing of importance shows up to me. There's a couple of screenshots/examples but nothing about any posts I've made.

You may be able to recover an earlier post revision. Go to Posts > All Posts, hover over the title of the post, click Edit and check the Post Revisions module for previous saved versions of the post. http://en.support.wordpress.com/posts/post-revisions/
If you're not seeing the Revisions module while on the editor screen, click Screen Options (top right corner of your Admin page) http://en.support.wordpress.com/screen-options/ to activate it. Then select the post and page modules to include them. http://en.support.wordpress.com/modules/#list-of-modules Then you ought to be able to go here > Dashboard > All Posts > Posts and locate the post and recover it from post revisions.
If you cannot locate the post for locating and restoring a post revision, and it's not in your Trash folder http://en.support.wordpress.com/trash/ then you will not be able to recover it. http://en.support.wordpress.com/trash/#restoring-from-trash
Did you create your post on the dashboard of your own blog?
Dashboard > Posts > All Posts > Add New
Or did you create your post on the front page of WordPress.com?
