If you have like yourblog.wordpress.com and gets a domain name lite yourblog.com, will this new domain be reachable fromyourblog.wordpress.com?
I have a client that's running a blog and wants to get his own domain, but he knows that many of his readers use yourblog.wordpress.com and this could cause a hugs loss in readers. I guess there will be like and redirect or something?
The blog I need help with is linusappel.wordpress.com.
If you buy a custom domain and use the domain mapping upgrade to attach it to your WP.com blog, then BOTH URLs work. The new one has zero pagerank to start, but builds up within about four months. http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-existing-domain/
