WHAT IS A PHONE NUMBER THAT I CAN CONTACT SOMEONE IN REGARD TO MY ACCOUNT??????

  1. what is a phone number I can call to talk with someone?
    Blog url: http://diablodivers.wordpress.com/

  2. There is no free phone support for WordPress.com blogs.

The average response time in these forums is less than five minutes, and several of the volunteers have more experience with WP.com than the staff do, so just ask your question here.

I do offer paid phone support, but it's not cheap, I answer the same questions for free in the forum, and I'm not doing it on Labour Day.

  3. Our awesome volunteers can usually help with most things around here. If not, we're watching too.

  4. I am trying to purchase services and would really like to speak with someone before I give them my money..

  5. There is no phone support from WP.com staff. If you'd like to wait till tomorrow, I can do phone support there, but it'll cost you more than virtually all of the upgrades.

Why don't you do a forum search for the specific upgrades you want, and then you can find out pretty much everything. With 30+ million blogs here, it's pretty likely someone has asked exactly the same questions you have, and that they've been answered here.

Do note, however, that each upgrade at WP.com applies only exactly to what it says. Custom domain, for eg, doesn't exempt you from the Terms of Service, the ban on ads, or the code restrictions. It just gives you a custom URL.

  6. 1. The reguslar Volunteers here who have Volunteered for years on end ie. prior to the Staff even being hired to work here have answers to most questions.

    2. There is no phone support.

    3. Here are all available upgrades:
    http://en.support.wordpress.com/topic/upgrades/
    http://en.support.wordpress.com/upgrades/
Note that there are no "perks" ie. you get what you pay for - nothing more and nothing less. Also note that each upgrades is for one years and for one blog only when it is due to be renewed. The only exception is the premium theme upgrades which is a one time purchase for the life of the blog.

    4. Please just state what it is that you want to know.

  7. reguslar = regular

  8. @ Timethief.

as per #4: I want to know the phone number. It is that simple. I have wasted hours sorting through the forums...

You answered my question in your point #2

  9. There is no phone number!

  10. If you had simply asked your questions, we would have answered them by now.

You are, however, confirming that my new business model is a good one. It's strange, we never saw requests for a phone number before about a month ago. Now we get them multiple times per day.

  11. I'm fascinated by the idea that there are questions that aren't being asked. What on earth can be gained by not asking them?

  12. I'm sorry, but we do not offer phone support. If you have any questions, I'd be happy to answer them here. We can also move to email if there's something that you don't want to discuss publicly.

Your WordPress.com Upgrade was purchased successfully. Item: No Ads for http://californiastandardpoodles.wordpress.com
    [removed from public forum]

  14. Every other blogger who has made this allegation had to retract it. The reason why is simple. That advertising is coming from a browser add-on or extension or it's embedded in shareware you uploaded from the internet. It's not placed there by WordPress.com.

WordPress.com does not use text enhance or text link ads or pop-up ads or links in comments. So far everyone who has reported this has had a browser-add-on or browser extension that causes it. In some cases it was embedded into free games they downloaded from the internet. In others it was in toolbars and shopping apps.

Please try logging out, clearing your browser cache and cookies, disabling all browser add-ons and extensions, clearing your browser cache and cookies, and then rebooting and logging in again. View your blog and tell us if you still see advertising or not.

  15. I don't see any ads at http://californiastandardpoodles.wordpress.com/

Are you seeing highlighted words in your posts or banner ads with "ads not by this site" below them? If so, those are not from us. Instead, they're being added a corrupt browser extension or add-on. If they disappear when you deactivate all browser extensions or add-ons, you can find the cause by reactivating each one individually.

Also, please avoid posting transaction details in the public forum next time.

    I see , Thank you.

  19. I've been keeping a list of all the "culprit" add-ons, etc.
Do new browser add-ons, toolbars, game programs from AARP, Wajam, Shopping Sidekick, text-enhance, PlayBryte and/or the phrase “ads not by this website” ring a bell?

  20. People are telling me they cannot fill out me contact forms only website. Why is this?

  21. Your contact form worked fine for me -
