   not connecting to host server

   The blog I need help with is jameshaverstock.com.

   I can post on my blog, but slooooooooow today. Won't bring up site stats. Nor WP development blog or incoming links. Indicates not connecting to host server. Problem began 1-28-13 in AM. All OK the night before.

   The exact message I am receiving is ........ RSS Error: WP HTTP Error: couldn't connect to host

   http://jameshaverstock.com/ is not a wordpress.com blog.
   These forums are for helping folks with wp.com.

   Your site seems to be self hosted using wordpress.org software.

   wp.COM and wp.ORG are very different platforms. You need to find help at http://wordpress.org/support/
   Our wp.COM answers won't usually apply to your needs.
