In the site stats under the "referrals section," we just started getting a lot of views from one specific website that seems to be contrary in opinion to our blog. Could this be a spam thing or is the referral real? If anyone knows more about this referral section I am talking about please fill me in. Thank you

Referrers are sites that link to you.
For example, if I made a blog post linking to your blog, my blog post would show as a referrer.
Unfortunately, like with comments, referrer listings are not immune to bot-generated spam. We do our best to filter out as many spam referrers as we can, but please contact us via http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact/ if you find any new ones that we aren't filtering.
