   Im not sure link plugins is quite the right word.

   But I know a lot of blogs use things like Linky Tools or Inlinkz on memes/challenges where everyone who wants to take part can link up their own blogs/posts. So the person organising it has a list of everyone taking part and everyone else can see who is also taking part and can click on the other blogs to visit them.

   I don't think the two above will work on wordpress.com because of javascript. But is there something similar that wordpress.com does support? Or even just an inbuilt feature that would do the same job?

   The blog I need help with is turn-the-page.net.

   I know exactly what you mean by a link meme widget and no there is not such widget that we can use on free hosted WordPress.com blogs. You are correct about JavaScript. This is a multiuser blogging platform so we cannot use JavaScript widgets for security reasons. http://en.support.wordpress.com/code/

   Also note that there is no FTP access to free hosted WordPress.COM blogs and we cannot install individual plugins into them Those found on the internet are for WordPress.ORG installs which run on different software.
