This is my current fav post
Well I can't say it's my favourite poem, wot I wrote, but "Guinevere's bed" has come in for such a pommelling that I feel like a mum must feel when she sees her child getting beat up, she knows the child must stand on it's own two feet but boy she would like to kick ass.
And all the fury being expended on my little baby is from very highly educated figures in the poetry world.
And yet the poem which deals with Guinnies infidelity is entirely according to the legend, the tirade has run into more than 60 comments and even those who are defending me against the scholarly bully boys don't seem to say anything favourable about my poem. I'm just sharing my hurt feelings folks. :( my poor baby, my poor, poor baby
I feel you, Gd. Be good now and cheer up the world with your priceless poetry -- you know you can.
My fave? Hmm ... YOU decide!
Some of you may have noticed that I enjoy laying the smackdown on people who deserve it. So here is a two-part smackdown that remains one of my favorite things:
This one gets nasssssty!
Right, favourite is a little poem wot I wrote recently called The Nestle. See if you can guess where the inspiration for it came from.
It's a tie between a photography exhibit that was at SF Cameraworks:
...mostly because I found the stuff on display so moving, and this one:
about an installation piece by Beili Liu. It was the week I first started the blog and while most of my posts take days or weeks to put together and seem like a chore, writing it was effortless - i knew exactly what I wanted to say and rereading it reminds me of what a fascinating piece of art it was.
Probably all of my posts that belongs to the category 'Travel'. I love travelling so much!
My Favorite Post is Child Labor. Reason is pretty simple. It was the first every article I wrote which is an extract from my views on the ill things that is happening in my society. I really enjoyed writing that. In fact, only that article paved way to my Blog.
Now I can say, this article is the reason for my Blog. Actually my blog is just 2 months old.
Thanks for such a Topic, I’m able to share my thoughts to you people. Thanks.
Here is my favorite quote:
“I’ve always followed my father’s advice: he told me, first to always keep my word and, second, to never insult anybody unintentionally. If I insult you, you can be goddamn sure I intend to. And, third, he told me not to go around looking for trouble.” - John Wayne, U.S. movie actor & director (1907 - 1979)
