I was wondering if there was a way to choose the topic of your blog. If someone were to click on the topics tab to look at all the blogs...where would mine come up? I don't recall ever picking a topic when I started my blog...I could be wrong and have just forgotten.

The blog I need help with is apirateoutofwater.wordpress.com.
Just use appropriate tags and categories for each post; that's the key. In some blog registration systems, you can pick topics for your blog as a whole, but not at WP.com.
Thank you raincoaster. So, lets say most of my posts are tagged as cooking then it would show up under the cooking and food category?
It should, unless you've made some other error like using too many tags etc. There are lots of threads in the forum on that issue.
