Hello, I am trying to upload pdf files for people to download and view. I could do this no problem before the new year and now i cannot. I go to Add Media, select the file off my computer and then insert it....but all that shows in the file name and when i publish nothing changes. I can upload jpegs fine, but not pdfs.

Before inserting the PDF into your post, make certain the "file URL" button is selected, then click the "insert into post" button. WordPress will then keep that choice as your default.
Hi tsp! I thought we had agreed not to reply without a link to the blog in question.
Things are fuzzy now as they have to at least selected a wordpress.COM blog from the pulldown or they would get the warning from Sam. I thought about asking, but decided not to.
Eh, I might be about done with the forums for quite a while anyway. Life is calling and has quite an agenda from the looks of things.
Re par.1: Sam's isn't foolproof. I've seen some cases slip by.
