Where did the preview button on themes go?

  1. I'm looking to change my theme, but all I can find now is the 'activate' button. I really want to preview my own blog in a theme before I make a decision. Anyone know what happened to the preview buttons?

The blog I need help with is mayapanika.wordpress.com.

  2. When I go to appearance > themes I see activate, preview and details below the theme thumbnail. Are you not seeing those?

  3. Also, what is the link to the site you are talking about?

  4. No, not seeing 'preview' at all, only 'activate'.

Which site, my site? is here: http://mayapanika.wordpress.com/

  5. Log out, clear your browser cache and cookies, restart your browser and take another look.

Also, what browser and browser version are you using?

Have you tried a different browser?

  6. Cache cookies etc - Already did all that 2ce.

I'm using Mozilla 3-6-15 - never had any trouble with it on WordPress before, I don't really like other browsers, but will give it a go on chrome, see if that helps. I should update Mozilla I suppose, there was reason I didn't, or went back to an older version., but I can;t remember what that was now .

But anyway, thanks for your time.

  7. Hi! We've introduced a new way to preview and customize themes. You should see it as a link that says 'Live Preview' below theme thumbnails on your Appearance → Themes page.

If you dont' see the 'Live Preview' link right away, try refreshing the themes page.

See this announcement for more info:

There's also a thread here with more info and feedback in case you continue to have any troubles:

  8. Thank you for your help! I didn't get an email heads-up for your comment so sorry for the late response.
