I am interested in reading and asking questions about the use of a 'like' button on my website. I'm entirely new to WordPress, prefer to search for answers before asking a question that's been asked before, and don't want to waste anyone's time by being in the wrong section.
My situation in a nutshell: I have a new site that was built for me, it's a wordpress site but it's not a blog, and I am looking to add a 'like' button. I downloaded a plugin however when activated it shows on my page in an area that I'd rather not have it, and I am looking to move it to the bottom of my homepage. There are directions for this that came with the plugin, which I don't understand clearly.
My feeling is that I will be doing a lot of learning about WordPress. Right now I'd be happy to have a description of what area to research this problem in.
