Where is my content?

  1. I set up a private blog (not shared with anyone) to store some writing and photos in February and March of 2012. I added more content until about May 2012. Returning to the site today after some time it seems that all but one page has been deleted. I am not sure what to do about recovering or finding the missing content. All content had been marked as private and was not shared with anyone. Now what? Thanks

  2. It sounds as if your blog may have been hacked.
Go here > Users > All Users and delete any user that does not belong there.
Disable post by email > http://en.support.wordpress.com/post-by-email/
Disable post by voice > http://en.support.wordpress.com/post-by-voice/
Change your blog password to a very difficult one > http://en.support.wordpress.com/passwords/#change-your-password
Use a secure, encrypted connection to connect to your Dashboard. Under Users → Personal Settings, check the box that says “Always use HTTPS when visiting administration pages, and click Save Changes.
Go to your email program and change the password to a very difficult one
