Where Is The Admin Panel?

    Hi:

    Newbie here. I'm trying to rename links, and in doing some research on the support forums I realized that I have to go to the Administrative Panel. Unfortunately, I can't find it. I've been going around and around in circles looking for it.

    Please help! :o)

    Hmmm... I wonder - You haven't really been clear on which links you wanted to change and where you saw this "go to administrative panel" written so I'm assuming administrative panel = dashboard. Click "home" at the top of this page and you will be looking at your dashboard -> blogroll - > blogroll management -> edit (rename the link) -> save changes

    You are referring to a thread from the wordpress.org forum, not this one. You are reading the documentation applicable to wordpress.org blogs which are different from wordpress.com blogs (not the same code).
    I typed mp3 into the FAQs search box and got the instructions applicable to wordpress.com blogs http://faq.wordpress.com/2006/05/20/how-do-i-make-a-download-link/

    But to answer teh question, after you login, it drops you onto what is called the Dashboard. Says it in nice big letters. From there, look for a menu selection labeled either Blogroll (or WPMU sites like wp.com) or Links (on the downloadable version of WordPress) to find the link manager.
