   I'm having difficulty finding the code to remove the line that separates the main content from the sidebar. I'd be grateful if someone would point it out. :)

   That is an background image declared in #container. This will get rid of the image.

   #container {
   background: none repeat-y scroll 500px 0 white;
   }

   Actually do this below since there is a piddly little bit of an image in #subcontent as well

   #content, #subcontent {
   background: none no-repeat scroll 0 0 white;
   }
