I am trying to create a simple landing page with data collection to generate sales leads. I will then offer downloadable content on completion of the data fields. Which theme would be best for me? I am looking for something without distractions.

andreaus 9 is the one i'm on ( have a look ) i have tried several before and i'm staying with this one , you get the basic page and then you can put as many ( as i have ) or as few distractions as you like

I don't think you will be able to collect data: we are not allowed to use forms here.
WordPress.com blogs can include a contact form as a way for your readers to contact you without you having to display your email address:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact-form/
but the software will strip out any other sort of form code:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/code/
If you are familiar with HTML, you’ll notice that codes such as embed, frame, iframe, form, input, object, textarea and others are missing from the above list. Those codes are not allowed on WordPress.com for security reasons.
