You have missed the correct thread to post into to promote your blog. It is here http://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic.php?id=7101
Posting blog promotion threads elsewhere is considered to be forum "spamming". Also posting your email address is not a good thing to do because spam bots will crawl all over it.
