   I can only access the rest of WordPress(.com) by going through my Account Settings page. If I just load WordPress and log in, neither the "W" menu, nor the Tabs for

   New Post
   Reader
   Notifications
   Stats
   My Blog
   or Freshly Pressed go anywhere.

   The address in the address bar of my browser changes, but what is displayed on the page does not. What is displays is the tabs and the base wordpress menu (titles: On WordPress.com, Also Cool, and so forth)

   Similarly:

   Find Friends and
   Manage my Blogs

   Under my "Avatar Menu" (drops down from my mini avatar pic on the right) behave in the same fashion.

   Both Help and Logout work fine.

   Am I missing something in how being logged in to wordpress works? I think once I login, "New Post" form the W Menu should lead to a new post for that account. If that is not whow it works, pls let me know.

   I am really not being sarcastic or anything, I am just genuinely confused.

   Windows 7 Home

   Could my malware protection be somehow blocking these links?

   Kapersky Interner security 2012 (trial version) and
   avast Free Antivirus (operating in second line of defense mode)

   The blog I need help with is tinyfrogs.wordpress.com.

   Thank you.

   I noticed that I am able to write, edit and publish posts.

   However, I cannot;

   "choose from the most used tags" (no result from clicking other than page reload)

   nor add new tags in the textbox (clicking "add" does nothing at all)

   Are you logging in by using the secure https:// link?
   see http://en.support.wordpress.com/https/

   Do you have another browser you can try? (Note: running IE9 in compatibility mode makes it render as IE7 and IE7 is not supported.)

   Also, please try with Kapersky and Avast temporarily disabled, along with any other security, firewall, ad blocking, etc software you may have.

   I can do everything in IE9. (just updated two posts from yesterday)

   so this is a Google Chrome issue?

   It's possible, but I can't reproduce the issue in Chrome. Did you have any luck with the security apps disabled?

   Also, if you have any Chrome extensions, try temporarily disabling all of them.

   Are you using a beta or developer version of Chrome the reason I ask because those two browser versions change versions more often then the stable which results in websites like for example such as the WordPress admin bar not functioning anymore.

   If you're using one the two versions mentioned above then please note WordPress staff does not support those browser versions here at WP.com because of the versions more often compared to the stable version.
