Why are deleted pages and posts still visible on my blog?

I’ve deleted two of my pages, Music and Science, and I’ve deleted my first and only post, Guitar Player.
But the pages and the post stills appears on my blog! Why???
I first deleted the pages, and they were not visible from the front page of the blog anymore.
But they were still visible from the archive, when I got in there and looked at the post. So I deleted the post too, because I thought that would make the pages go away. But nothing helped!How can I solve this problem??
I don’t want to have the stupid Music and Science pages on my blog anymore! -

Have you cleared out your browser cache and done a forced reload of the pages? It could well be that you’re viewing a version that exists in your cache and nowhere else.

Hi. I am also new here. I have the same problem. I’ve deleted the About page but even when I cleared my cache I can still see it. I have this problem both in IE and Firefox. Does it have anything to do that I just linked my blog to a domain? Just in case that my blog address is needed, it’s trel0s.wordpress.com

Um, next time, do point out to folks that your blog may not be work safe please.
I don’t see an About page on your blog. I see an About Me page though. That’s different from the original About page.

I am really sorry for not mentioning that the content is for adults :(
The problem is now solved. I don’t know why but it took about 1 hour for the page to be deleted from the blog. It’s the first time this is happening.

Not a problem. I just access wp.com here from my local libraries. Some of the librarians would love to have an excuse to boot me out of here as I usually do 8-13 hour days, some of which is commerical work.
