Hello! I am trying to get to the bottom of a problem I only (very) recently noticed. Perhaps it has something to do with this new WordPress update....

I upload a picture with every article I post and it's always at the very top of the post. I align it to the left to make room for words on the right side of the artwork.

The blog I need help with is styrofoamdrone.com.

Hello! I am trying to get to the bottom of a problem I only (very) recently noticed. Perhaps it has something to do with this new WordPress update....

I upload a picture with every article I post and it's always at the very top of the post. I align it to the left to make room for words on the right side of the artwork.

When I go to view my posts from my homepage, the artworks are aligned to the center and the words are under it, totally disregarding the settings I make to align the artwork to the left. It never did this before and I've been using WordPress for nearly 4 years. Can't seem to figure this one out. If anybody can help I'd greatly appreciate it!

    Thank you all!

  3. I'm having the exact same issue. It's been going on for a couple of days now.

glad to hear I'm not alone. if anybody has any tips for you or if you figure out anything that works I'd love to know.

    thank you!

  5. What browser and version are you using? Are you on Windows 7?

  6. No, it's not a browser issue, it's WP trying something or messing up something. For example, if you view styrofoamdrone's latest post, the image shows up as left aligned (with text-wrap) for a moment then changes. The code of the post specifies a left-aligned image, but then a script kicks in and the image gets enclosed in a div class="stipple-dottable-wrapper" that turns the image into a centered block.

  7. I noticed an odd sprite on my own posts, a dark blue "1" that appears and then vanishes. Why do they always tinker on Fridays?

justpi - that is exactly what's happening! I'm using windows 7 and firefox 22.0.

  9. This is the second thread I have tagged for Staff attention this morning. If we don't tag threads for their attention then Staff won't know there is an issue they need to address.

    thank you!

  11. So happy I'm not alone in this! For some reason it has only happened on my last five or six posts. My other posts are all fine still :/

yeah, same thing on my end. the first 7 posts or so are being reformatted after the page loads. everything after that looks like it used to. could it have something to do with the wordpress theme?

still trying to figure this one out!

  14. That problem used to be specific to Firefox 16 and upgrading to Firefox 17 solved it. If you aren't running one of the browsers and versions here please upgrade in case this is another case of it arising again http://browsehappy.com

Another workaround is to insert images in Text mode, by clicking the Text tab next to the Visual Editor tab. Have you tried that?

  15. I am using the latest Chrome version, and still have the problem.

When I first saw the problem, I visited the text tab and the images with the problem had the same code with the normal looking images. I write the same line about the image in the Text mode and nothing changed.

  16. @TT: Read my previous reply.

@alexandra1912 & styrofoamdrone: You think it's only happening on the latest posts, because you're only checking your main page. On the main page, seven posts load the normal way and the rest load via infinite scrolling. See the same thing happening on earlier posts too:

  17. This still hasn't been resolved. Is there something I need to do or is WordPress going to sort it out?

  18. This issue is a result of a WordAds code conflict with some themes, as explained in the thread to which Panos linked.

For anyone for whom this is still an issue, could you please post a link to your affected site in the other thread so we can apply a fix. Since many of you have multiple sites it's much easier to find the affected one if you post a link.

Thanks for your understanding - we're sorry for the inconvenience.
