Why are my visits to my own blogs being counted?

  1. It's frustrating. I have 4 different blogs at the moment, and if I were to check out the layout or something of a blog while in my dashboard, it automatically counts me as a "visit". It doesn't matter which blog I'm in; they all do the same thing.

Why is it doing this, especially when WP says my own visits do not count as a hit? How can I turn this off?

  2. This is the result of my attemtp to locate your blog(s):

    starfiresong.wordpress.com is no longer available.
The authors have deleted this blog.

Please post a active links starting with http:// to the blog you are referring to.

On public blogs your stats will not be counted when you are logged in under the username account that registered the blog in question. If you are logged out then your stats are recorded. And on private blogs your stats are being recorded. See here > http://en.support.wordpress.com/stats/
