Why are some of my images not showing?

    I just migrated from wordpress.org back to wordpress.com yesterday. I received an email stating the import was successful and everything looked great last night. Now for some reason about half of my images are question marks. When you hit the question marks, the proper image comes up as an individual photo, but not within the post.

    Any ideas on what I can do?

    Thanks so much. I manually fixed the "question mark images" yesterday, but now some images that were fine yesterday are now showing up as question marks. In the meantime I am taking care if them one by one, but it's a pain!

    i'm getting all images showing as grey boxes using a standard theme and a variety of upload points -facebook, instagram, flickr and direct to site. aaaagh photos fine if you click on the individual page but not on home screen. really pulling my hair out on this one. -also tried switching between Firefox and Safari without effect.

    scenthive, all of the images appear to be displaying well for me. Would you please give us a link to a post or page with the problem?

    Hi macmanx, I have since manually fixed all of the ? images. It was time consuming, but it was all I could figure out to do. Hopefully the images that have been displaying fine continue to do so.

    Hi,

    I have a similar problem that is really frustrating. I am building a web page using RT-THEME 17. I upload pictures and they come out fine on all browsers and platforms except in safari where they are shown as question marks.

    Can anyone help me? Am I doing something wrong when uploading pictures?

    Hi again,

    Some of my pictures are actually visible in safari, but some are not. In Firefox, IE and Chrome, they are all visible...

    ideverket, I can't find any WordPress.com blogs tied to your account.

    Would you please tell us what the URL of your WordPress.com blog is?
