I've got my posts set up to show like buttons and sharing buttons, but when I go to my published blog they are not there. I don't know what else to do - I've read the social tools instructions repeatedly, and it seems I've done it right by checking the boxes for having sharing and like buttons. Does anyone have any other suggestion?
The blog I need help with is bostonartimages.wordpress.com.

Thanks so much. Unfortunately, I've done all that. I just went there again, to sharing under settings, and all the share icons (facebook, twitter, etc.) are still enabled and in the box I had dragged them to previously. Also, the box to show a LIKE box is still checked. But if you go to my blog there are no like boxes or share boxes visible.

Sorry for the repeated posts - wordpress gave me an error window each time I hit the "submit" button, so I assumed they weren't posting.
Hi Paula. I clicked on a random post on your front page, namely this one...

...and your Share options and Like button showed just fine.
As I mentioned on that previous thread I linked to, if you want your share buttons to ALSO show on the front page, you must enable the option to show on posts, pages and index.
Once you activate that option, you may notice that for one or several of your posts, the share and like buttons are still not showing. Then, it's time to check the sharing options for those posts in particular:

And don't worry about the double posts. It's happening quite often lately for everyone ;-)

I did, after seeing someone else's posting about the "posts, pages, and index" option, click on that, and then the Share button showed up. However, I still do not see the LIKE button, even when I come onto the site not signed in. It baffles me that you can see it and I can't. I will again check the sharing options for individual posts.

Hi Paula. Sorry for not making this clear from the start, but I believe "Like" buttons only show on individual posts and never on front pages. Perhaps another volunteer can confirm.
I can confirm that. Also: they're completely useless, except to act as a barrier to reblogging.
