Why cannot I any more have as many posts as I want on my Home Page (any page)

    MyPaperpunch theme used to handle hundreds of posts on the Home Page. Now things seem to have been changed, (not by me, I believe), with a limit of 50 posts available (because I have footers at end of page?????). A note says that Infinity Scroll has been disabled because of the widget footers, BUT everything was working great until very recently (with hundreds of posts on the page). I like my scrolling capability! Please HELP!
