   I'm a fairly new wordpress-er, and am wondering why I can't add any more text after I upload media into a post. Is there a character or space limit? (My entries aren't log, so I'm not sure that this is the problem - I see many much longer and with more photos on the site.) Also, can someone point me to an area with info on general about photos - I'm also a little confused about how to type text to the side of them, rather than just above. Thanks so much for any help you can provide!

   Hi. Could you show us a specific example of a post (http://...) where you cannot add text afterwards?

   I have this "problem" too - after I insert and image the cursor stays in the "Description".

   I solve this by going to the HTML edit screen and inserting some text after the image and then going back to the visual screen.

   That may help as a workaround in the meantime.

   I always have this too, when using Chrome. The only solution is as teamoyeniyi says, to click to the HTML editor, put in some text woemofo;elsle whatever, it doesn't matter, then click back to the Visual. It shouldn't do this, but it does.

   You could also put the images in last, but that interrupts your workflow.
