Why can't I see "likes" and "follows" on my posts? Self-hosted site..

    Hi there

    I have just set up my blog..but I'm sick, so I'm being very woolly headed. I should've waited.
    Anyway, when I was wordpress hosted, I got little avatars and likes at the end of posts. Now I don't see any (I know the old ones might not have migrated, but the new ones aren't showing up either).

    is this because I'm now self-hosting?

    this might be a rookie question, if so, apologies, and be kind!
