Why did my site stat display quit working?

    If you have received likes but do not see visits reflected in your stats then note what follows please. Be aware that likes and shares numbers are misleading when you are talking about page view stats. Your followers and anyone with a WordPress.com blog who is logged into WordPress.com can "like" and "share" your posts in several locations such as the Reader without ever clicking into your blog and creating a page view stat. Those who have username accounts only but no blog can become followers and click the "like" and/or "share" buttons. Those who do not have accounts cannot use the like button.

    Note: To compel readers to click into my blog to read the full post thereby creating a page view stat, I have set my RSS Feed for posts to “summary” on this page > Settings > Reading

  5. When I select site stats on the dashboard, the screen dispalys a totally blank page. The loading circle rotates forever.

    (3) More troubleshooting:
    a. clearing your browser cache and cookies > http://www.google.com/support/accounts/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=32050

    b. Using the browser with all extensions or add-ons disabled

    c. updating the browser to the latest stable version (not a buggy BETA browser version) http://browsehappy.com/

    e. Confirming JavaScript is enabled http://www.google.com/adsense/support/bin/answer.py?answer=12654

    f. Confirming Flash is updated http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/ and if required installing the latest version of Flash http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/

    g. Resetting your router and modem and rebooting your computer
    then logging in using the secure https:// log-in

    h. Trying another browser

  7. I apologize for my hysteria. I have no idea of what I am doing. Also, my mail runs slow getting to me. That is probably due to something I am doing wrong, This is all ESO to me. (Equipment Smarter than Operator). As you can tell, I am computer stupid.

  8. Another note. It was working OK three days ago. I hav done nothing to it. (I would not know how.) I do not understand anything about code. (Yes, I live in a vacuum.)

  11. This happens to me from time to time. It's some sort of Flash error. Click to the Weeks view rather than the daily view, then click back. That usually works for me.
