Hi!
I use the motion theme and my question is why my about page doesn't have a side-bar?
It has the header but no side-bars?

Some themes display sidebars on all pages and some do not. Some have theme option layouts one can choose that display sidebars static pages or on single post pages and some do not.
See:

I have viewed your blog and do not see any widgets at all on the front page or any page. Please go here > Appearance > themes and make the choice of widgets you wish to have, place them in your sidebar, open them, configure them. click "save" and click "close" on each one.
This is the main page for support documentation on widgets and sidebars. Click the links for individual widgets and a page will display a description of each one and instructions fro installing the widget.
Thank you!
That first link helped me, I didn't even realize I had that option.
I appreciate the help:)
You're welcome and best wishes for happy blogging. :)
