Why doesn't my blogroll show in my footer?

  1. I entered several links into my Links widget and dragged it to the box for my footer. Why doesn't it appear?

My theme is Chunk, which seems to have limited space for extras. Is this the problem?

  2. I see your Blogroll in the footer:
    Blogroll
    Built In Chicago
Kauzu & Effect — The Official Kauzu Blog
Steinvox — Voice for Pervasive Strategy
    Technori

  3. Thanks for the quick response. I've cleared cache and cookies, but still don't see it. Do I need to restart the computer, too?

  4. If you are not running one of the browsers and versions listed at http://browsehappy.com/ please try upgrading or switching.

  5. Upgraded. Still don't see it. WTF?

  6. Let's confirm which blog you mean. Is it this one? http://jeffsegal.wordpress.com/
Let's confirm exactly which browser and version your are using please. Which one is it?

  7. Yes, that's the right blog. I'm running Firefox 16.0.1. Thanks again.

  8. Well, I don't know what to say. I'm also using Firefox 16.0.1 and I can see your blogroll at the bottom of the theme exactly where I expected to see it.

  9. I shut down and came back 2 hrs later. Still not there. As long as others can see it, I guess I should be happy!

    Thanks again!

  10. You can't see it and that's bizarre. Do you see it when you use another browser?

  11. Nope. I tried Chrome and IE. Crazy.

  12. Are you on a desktop or a laptop? What's your OS?

  13. It's a Dell desktop with Windows 7.

  14. Hi @jeffsegal: I have uploaded a screenshot of what I see when I scroll down to the bottom of your blog http://jeffsegal.wordpress.com/:

Could you please take a screenshot of what you are seeing when you scroll down to the very bottom of your page?

  15. Thank you both. I discovered the problem: I'm an idiot.

I thought the footer appeared at the end of each article, but obviously it only appears at the end of the page after several articles. I'm going to reduce the number of articles per page to bring the footer into view for more casual readers.

    Thanks again!

  16. @jeffsegal: no problem at all, happens to all of us, and thanks for the update :)
