Why has my WordPress site stopped uploading images?

My WordPress site (http://poisonedpeople1.wordpress.com/) has totally stopped uploading images. I can't upload from my PC or from a URL into my site. The upload animated icon appears and operates, but my images do not upload and install.

Hi timethief, and thanks for a marvelous reply! I'm still trying to get the image upload thing working. This could take a few days. Meanwhile, now my WordPress site has another problem: "There was an error fetching the like box for the specified page." This is happening when simply loading my site's main page (http://poisonedpeople1.wordpress.com/).

    Regards, Murray

  4. The Facebook like box will accept the URL for fan pages only. It will not accept the URL for your Profile page.

  5. That's your Facebook Like box. What page did it link to, and is it set to Public?

Sorry everyone. I don't understand the terminology you're using in your replies. I got the imagery to upload via: https://poisonedpeople1.wordpress.com/wp-admin/media-new.php. I'll use that link from now on!! I guess i can live without a Facebook like button. Thanks for your ideas.
