Why have dates suddenly appeared on my Mistylook theme Pages?

  1. I have 3 blogs and only one of them (http://askanita.wordpress.com/) has this problem. Dates have suddenly appeared on my pages. I changed the date on one, but obviously I want the dates removed. Any suggestions?

  2. I think staff have been fiddling with the dates and various aspects of display, etc. You'll have to contact them about it, but I think they are probably going to tell you the dates are here to stay. If you get good with CSS and purchase the upgrade, you should be able to make them invisible, though.

  3. on Pages as opposed to Posts? Must be theme specific, because at least so far the date doesn't appear on Pages on Cutline.

  4. The issue has been resolved. Dates and authors should not display on pages.

  5. @bubel-this apparently is still an issue on one of my photography blogs using The Journalist theme:

  6. @justjennifer - thanks for the note. Will fix ASAP.

  7. @justjennifer
    Fixed for The Journalist.

  8. Since you're fixing The Journalist, why not remove the tags from those pages?

  9. Well those don't belong there either! :-)

Removed tags from pages for The Journalist.

  10. Thanks!

  11. Thanks so much!

    Monotone too.:)

  12. Categories and Tags have been removed from Monotone pages. The edit link has been updated as well. Author and Date were kept for visual balance with the theme.

  13. Since Monotone only has the one available About Page, it should be OK. Thanks again.

  14. I contacted Support directly and the dates were removed from my Pages.
