Why is catergory showing up under my title Welcome Bloggers

You assigned this category to that post http://cupcakestopits.wordpress.com/category/drink-of-the-month/ Or you chnage the default categoty which is "uncategorized" to "drink of the month" and it was automatically assigned to the post.

Every post must have a default category. You cannot delete the deafult category. You can only change it. To do that you follow the instructions here > http://en.support.wordpress.com/posts/categories/#setting-the-default-category
