Why is my blog dispalyed two times in my blogglist?

  1. I have had a wordpress.org-blog installed on my server in a sub-folder for a couple of years and have had it linked to wordpress.com-statistics using Jetpack. This has worked great, until recently when I wanted it to become my main "homepage". So I copied the file "index.php" and ".htaccess" to my server root directory and made all the neccessary changes to make it work, and it did.
The problem is that since I made this change this (one) blog is displayed as two separate blogs here at wordpress.com, one before the change and one after, even though I did not move or otherwise change any of the files in the subfolder?!

I would really like these two blogs to become one again so that my statistics is shown correctly and my followers get messages about updates. I have tried to search the supportforums both here and at wordpress.org but nobody seems to have encountered this problem before. I'm hoping someone can help me to set my blogs straight.
The .org-blog is located at ullisweb.se and my .com-account is ullisweb.wordpress.com.

The blog I need help with is ullisweb.wordpress.com.

The site you refer to is not a free hosted WordPress.COM blog and those are the only blogs we provide support for here. You are posting to the wrong support forum to get help with a site that's not hosted by WordPress.COM. If you don't have a username account at WordPress.ORG click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post to the support forums there and receive advice from WordPress.org bloggers.

Sorry I read all that above very quickly. The relevant part was the last sentence. I tagged this thread for Staff support. Please subscribe to it so you are notified when they respond.

  4. Hi there,

When you change your blog's location, Jetpack read it as a whole new blog and so created a new ID for you. We've gone ahead and reconnected your old ID, so if you could just disconnect Jetpack and reconnect it, then you should see your old stats and followers listed!

There will be a couple of days of stats missing where the new ID was connected, but that was unavoidable, just so you are prepared! :)

  5. Thank you so much, now it's working fine again! :D
I can only blame myself for the gap in the statistics. ;)
    Thank you again!

  6. Hey, it's our pleasure! I'm glad it's working for you. Have a great week!
