   Yesterday I tried to delete the blog - positennui.wordpress.com, received the email and clicked on the link.

   Now, the blog no longer shows as being listed in 'My Blogs' in my wordpress.com account, but it is still active online.

   When I re-click on the deletion link in the WP email, I get the following message:

   "User whiff Cannot Access the Dashboard Requested

   You are logged in as "whiff" and do not have the necessary privileges to access the dashboard for "Boshmonger.". If you are not "whiff", please log out, and log back in with your username. If you are "whiff" and you need access, please ask an administrator of the site to invite you.

   If you reached this screen by accident and meant to visit one your own sites, here are some shortcuts to help you find your way.

   It is extremely confusing, as all the other blogs listed with the site have been successfully deleted. I can log in to my WP account using this username + password, but the blog I wanted delete does not seem accessible, yet it is still online.

   Any help would be very gratefully received.

   p.s. the URL they are making me list (thropplenoggin.com) doesn't exist! The one I want to delete is: positennui.wordpress.com

   The blog I need help with is thropplenoggin.com.

   Do you have a second account? You need to be logged in as the blog owner to delete it

   As far as I can re-call, I have used the same log-in, under the same email address, ever since the blog was created. However, I did switch to a wordpress.org at one point, then switched back.

   Yesterday, I deleted it both in the "settings" and in the subsequent email. The 'Delete My Blog' confirmation email for this blog ('Boshmonger.'/positennui.wordpress.com) came to the same email address.

   I wonder if deleting the other accounts attached to this account have somehow affected the admin rights for this blog?

   I would very much like to resolve this and have the content removed from the Internet.

   My guess is you have more than one username account.

   When you register a username account here all that's required is an email address, which becomes your unique identifier. If you are logged in and register a blog then it's registered under that unique identifier. You cannot access any blog unless you are logged in under the exact username account that registered the blog.
