gilesmirkovicI changed the avatar, blavatar, gravatar. Top right is the correct pic, but the little picture in the top left and in the address bar is the old pic. I deleted the old pic, cleared cache and cookies, reset Safari, logged out and logged back in, waited 3 days. Nothing, old pic is still there. Can someone walk me through step by step how to change this? I must have missed something.

Yes, but which headshot do you see? Because the old pic is a headshot too.

I see the same one that you have set via Settings -> General in your blog's Dashboard.
It's you in front what may be a stair rail and a door, not the Gravatar you have set to the left here.
The image set via Settings -> General is what controls the image in the top-left and the favicon.
