I just joined WordPress and have started a blog. I am wondering, however, why there is no Plugins option located in my Dashboard Admin screen. Am I missing it? Is it hidden somewhere? I'd like to import some plugins for video purposes. Thanks.

You can request a plug in though via the feedback form within your dashboard. Admin has mentioned that they're keeping track of requests.
