Why won't my page enable comments?

  1. Enable/Disable Comments - I have overall settings enabled to allow comments. Settings for each article are also enabled to leave comments. My settings do not close the discussion and yet no space for leaving comments exists below my articles. Occasionally a comments box has appeared then disappeared. Why is this happening? Thanks.

The blog I need help with is neftimiades.wordpress.com.

  3. I have never experienced what you report on any WordPress.com blog. Please provide us with your specifics by undertaking some troubleshooting and reporting back to us.

If you are not running one of the browsers and versions listed at http://browsehappy.com/ please try upgrading or switching first.

Note: If you are using an IE9 browser in compatibility mode that makes it render as IE7 and IE7 is not supported. To disable see > http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/1196-internet-explorer-compatibility-view-turn-off.html

If you are running one of the browsers and versions listed at http://browsehappy.com please do these four things:

    1. Try clearing your browser’s cache:

    2. Make sure that you have third-party cookies enabled: http://en.support.wordpress.com/third-party-cookies/

    3. Try with all browser extensions or add-ons temporarily disabled.

    4. Try enabling HTTPS: http://en.support.wordpress.com/https/

If it’s still happening, let us know exactly which browser (and version of it) you’re using by checking here if necessary http://www.whatbrowser.org/ and also post any error reports you get.

  4. Hi @neftimiades,

Also, while you're checking what @timethief has recommended, would you also make sure that the articles which you're looking at is on the actual article page, as opposed to your home page?

Ie; The "Leave a Comment" box is meant to appear here:

    http://neftimiades.wordpress.com/2013/03/20/the-complete-and-updated-scifi-bucket-list/

But is not supposed to appear here:
